Teva's Omnium hiking shoe brings the best of both worlds. This part-sandal, part-shoe hybrid has the light weight and breathability of a sandal, along with the added foot protection of a shoe. It also features three points of adjustability for enhanced fit and comfort. Teva is an authentic icon in the outdoor industry. Founded in the early 1980's by a Colorado River guide, Teva pioneered the sport-sandal category. For more than 20 years on rivers, in canyons, and across the trails of the great outdoors, athletes and enthusiasts have traveled the globe comfortably and confidently in Teva footwear. Providing positive contributions to the world in which we play is at the core of everything Teva stands for. The Teva name itself is a Hebrew word meaning "nature" and the hand logo is the Hopi symbol for "friendship" and "water." Teva supports the outdoor athletic lifestyle and remains committed to innovation in outdoor performance footwear, the platforms which carry enthusiasts beyond the offices of the day-to-day and onto the rivers, trails, and canyons of the next adventure.
I love these sandels. Right out of the box comfort! Great sole, sturdy and adjustable fit. I like the way they look too. I really don’t have anything negative to say about them except that they’re better for walking on pavement than they are gravel and sand, which is obvious because of the design. So that’s not even really a negative. I have not worn them in water yet, so I can’t speak to the drying time. I think that I like them too much to wear them in the water. Maybe I will have to get another pair for water! I’m normally, an 8 1/2 to nine and the nine fit perfectly. This shoe was as I expected, lots of adjustments. If you have a narrow foot though it will be way to wide for you.Great for kayaking and walking on slippery rocks. Not so good for sandy shores, as expected sand will get in and make walking or hiking uncomfortable when wet.I wear socks to use for hiking and it is fine.I bought these to wear while walking all over Yellowstone and they were great. I love they are adjustable because I have a foot that tends to swell. I really didn't have to break them in, they didn't cause any blisters.I like the way the shoe wraps around the foot, supportive for the whole foot. The ONLY reason these get 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the color selection. There were only a couple of colors, but I had a pair from several years ago and I know how comfortable they are. So, I got the color I could tolerate in the name of comfort. They stay on my feet, they're soft on the feet, and airy without having to walk weird just to keep your sandals on. I'll buy another pair when they get the colors I like.Purchased this to replace a pair that had lasted 5+years. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. Great impact absorption for my 67 year old knees, the vents keep my feet from sweating but enough coverage to protect them. Hope they never stop making them!if you have a plump foot you may have a hard time getting these on. I have an average foot have a little struggle to get them on sometimes. once on they are comfortable. I wouldn't do any serious elevation hiking in them, but they are good for walks. they dry quicklyCan wear all day with no problems. Love these shoes. This sandal did the job as expected when camping for three days in stormy weather in the Blue Ridge. I had good traction through the mud, I didn't slide around inside the shoe, and my feet were well supported walking/hiking.My only complaint is that the heel piece is too high/angled in too much and cuts into my heel. I thought maybe I didn't have the heel piece set correctly (you know folded or pushed down) but I didn't. Got a bit of a blister from it which was annoying.Love and have bought quite a few Teva shoes but these are the most comfortable yet. They are wide fit so perfect for me. I can walk for hours in them. These sandals are almost impossible to get on as they have no way to open them. The fastenings do not open the sandal at all. A shoe horn is essensial ?? They are comfort when I finally get them on.The size in your information wasnot match with profuct? For example i choose 5 uk but when item arrive it was 4.5 ukThese shoes do fit they did at first give me blister on on heel, but then I wore them with two pairs of socks and then for shorter walks to stretch the fabric. It’s worked and so far no blisters on my first excursion out and very comfortable! Great grip and looking forward to seeing if I can go on my 10,000 step walk with no issues. Keep you posted but very encouraging so far the shoes are super.I love my Teva sandals so was looking forward to these runners. Unfortunately the opening is very small and even with all the straps loosened off I was unable to get my foot completely into the shoe. I do have a wide foot and a high arch. As far as I could get my foot in, the width seemed to be true to sizing.
