These shoes fit as expected. However, they did feel slightly stiff. To be fair, I have only worn them for work one day. The shoes do look nice and are work appropriate. I plan to try them again next time with a slightly thicker sock that comes up in the heel. I would purchase them again. If you are in between sizes I would likely size up. For reference I were a 9 1/2 and I ordered them in a 40. I would reorder them in the same size as I am a true 9 1/2It is a beautiful well built shoe made with rich leather. I purchased this because of its good price at Amazon. It is a comfortable shoe which goes with pretty much everything. It hurt my toe for first two times but now it doesn’t even after 6 hours of wearing it. I have Plantar Fasciitis in my left foot. Unfortunately it doesn’t have high arch support which I needed. It has some arch support but not what is found in Dansko clogs. For that reason I’m giving it 4 stars.I like Dansko's, so I looked for a Danko flat that I could wear with tights, or socks, when in the ring, dressed business casually, showing my dogs. Support is good, fit is comfortable. I have a wider foot, and Dansko accommodate that, with their wider toe box. I bought the pewter metallic color, and it is a nice change from black, but still neutral. No bling to it. Black elastic vamp almost disappears when wearing with black tights, making the shoe look less "oxfordy" and more dressy.I was having horrible pain in my arches that shot up my legs and radiated in my knees. My back, don't get me started on my back. These came in today and I wore them to an event where I was standing for over an hour. I was dreading this because just 2 minutes of standing has been horrifically painful. So glad I put these on, they have actually made my legs, feet, and back feel better. I started wearing dansko after I asked several nurses what shoes they wore while I was in the hospital. I figured if the brand is good enough for them to be on their feet for 12 hour shifts, they might work for me. So happy I gave them a try.Just about to return b/c too small but sz42 as other Dansko. Last minute I removed inner liner as shown from Pic. These shoes worn a lot. Even the inner heel area very noticeable. Even shoe bed worn. Price adjustment further would be nice. Thankfully quality shoe. The sticky glue on the left heel from wear but the right, maybe a problem. Hope I can wear w/ in sole linear.I bought these shoes two weeks before a 10-day Europe trip. They have a slightly fit, snug feel which took a bit of breaking in, but which ultimately were perfect for long walking days on cobblestone and concrete. When I would put them on in the morning, they were not as comfortable as sneakers or loafers, but I greatly appreciated their support as the day went on. They were an easy match with my wardrobe and felt more stylish than many walking shoes. I am delighted to have them as part of my travel gear. These are well made shoes but are a tad bit big on me I will keep them and wear thicker socks. Long pants will make this an acceptable alternative. Hoping they are good walking shoes.these shoes were gorgeous in real life. but i returned them because they wore on the top of my foot by the big toe (bunion area) and was too wide in the heel that resulted in them slipping on every step. thought about putting pads here and there but really want/need a pair of casual dressy shoes that i can be 100% comfortable in and be able to stand and walk for long periods. so the journey to find THAT shoe continues!
