We bought this dress for my daughter's western dance. I ordered her a large, she is 5ft 7in and weighs 130, it fit very good in the arms and shoulder area but she wished it was a little longer. The belt on it needs to be longer as she is tiny in the waist and it was hard to tie. It is hand wash only, so we didn't wash it beforehand and she came home blue wherever the dress was,but it washed off with her shower.
