These boots have a great vintage look to them. Beware, though, that they run a full size too big. I am typically a size 10, medium; very rarely a size 9.5. I got the 10 and they were huge....definitely too big even with a thick sock or inserted padded insole. I'm reordering the size 9 with hopes that they still won't be too big. I bought the brown distressed and the black scratched. Both of the colors have a great worn-in look. They're perfect with skinny jeans because they do not gape too much at the top of the shaft...so the look is not too clunky. The top of the boot is adjustable, which is perfect for cinching them tighter to wear under boot cut jeans or if you just want them to not gape too much when wearing with skirts/dresses/shorts/skinnies. The leather is nice and they do seem high quality. The sole is a little slippery, though (the heal, at least, has good traction). Overall, I recommend for a classic vintage looking boot BUT...definitely order down a full size!Loved the boot online but hesitant to order due to sizing issue. Decided to go with the review recommendations and ordered a full size down. They fit and were very comfortable with no breaking in period necessary. All my other Miz Mooz boots are 10's but the Dorato's are 9's and are even a tiny bit longer in length. The main difference (and it could be a style issue) is that the ankle area is narrower and therefore I have to tug a bit to pull the boot on. Once on though the width of the foot is perfect. Great quality boot, unique look and like all Miz Mooz boots-very stylish!Wow, I couldn't believe how comfortable these boots are. They look cool, although the shape of the toe and heel could be improved on a bit. They do run a little big but I have a wide foot so I didn't want to go down a size. The leather is very soft. The first time out of the box and I was able to walk around in them all day without a complaint. I would definitely buy these again.I love those shoes, they didn't need braking in and are very comfy. Order a size down for sure. The only thing was after a first wear I have notice that one shoe is a different colour to the other. I couldnt exchange them because I have already worn them. I love them anyway though. They are great!These boots are super comfortable. I had to order a half-size up (they either didn't have or didn't produce half-sizes), but they feel great. They are a little bit cooler on the color palette than I expected, but that's fine. They are distressed leather, and I'm not worried about scuffing them! They look great with boot-cut or skinny jeans.So comfortable and stylish - received many compliments. Happy that I ordered the size 7 and not the 8 - I'm a size 7.5 but these boots run at least a 1/2 size bigger.This boot is so cute with anything! And so comfortable!!! I can be on my feet all day in this boot.If you order this boots make sure you get a size down of what you actually are.Im a size 8 and I got a size 7 after reading the comments left from other customers. The boots are awesome and look great. Looks nice with skinny jeans.
